Hi, my name is Youngtak Choi, a 31-year-old from South Korea.
I’m currently looking for a private room in a share house.
I’m on a Working Holiday visa and working part-time at the moment. I usually work two jobs a day, so except for Saturdays, I don’t spend much time at home. Because of this, the house is generally free and quiet during weekdays.
I’m looking for a private room, and I prefer a quiet household between midnight and 6am, as my sleep time is limited due to work.
Ideally, I’m hoping to find a place within 5km of Brisbane CBD.
I’m a very friendly and easy-going person, and I value respectful communication. I don’t believe in unnecessary conflict, and if any issues do come up, I’m confident they can be resolved calmly and reasonably.
I served five years in the military in Korea, so I’m very used to shared living, keeping common areas clean, and strictly following house rules.
My long-term goal is to study at university in Australia, so I’m hoping to stay long-term if things work out well. However, as my plans are still flexible, the minimum stay I can commit to is 3–4 months.
