Sunny 2 bedroom, ground-floor apartment with courtyard in Elwood, VIC. Available for a couple from 5 June 2023 to 21 July 2023 (6.5 weeks) while we are overseas, for $2000 including bills, plus a $500 bond.
The apartment has fridge/freezer, laundry washer and dryer, pans, cutlery, TV, space heaters - and many house plants. The place is a great size for a couple. We use the second bedroom for a work-from-home study with plenty of sun and a view of courtyard plants.
The apartment is a 15 min walk to both Elwood and St Kilda Beaches - still scenic in winter! 11 mins walk to Ripponlea Train Station and 5 mins walk to Brighton Road tram stop. The St Kilda Botanic Gardens are just up the road. 
There's a cafe, couple of restaurants, and a bottle-shop directly up the road (approx 200m). Down the other end of the street there's a convenience store, and there are multiple supermarkets nearby.
The location makes it super easy to walk to a few different eating/shopping districts including St Kilda, Chapel St, Ormond Rd and Ripponlea. Also accessible are the Prahran Market and the Elsternwick precinct for food and cinema. Free on-street parking, but this does get full in the evening.
