This room is huge. Not kidding! It doesn't have a built in wardrobe, however it EASILY fits 2 chests of drawers, a standing wardrobe, a queen bed, bedside tables and leaves room for all kinds of activities. It has an old fireplace in it that has been painted and semi-concealed, and two large windows. There are also floorboards! It's the biggest of the three bedrooms :)

Incredibly large space for this price in this area! This freestanding house has 3 bedrooms, 2 large living areas (one with a pretty sweet fireplace), a decent size kitchen with dishwasher and a decent backyard with a deck and BBQ. Not much to complain about to be honest.

There is an split system unit in the main living room (where housemate Sam also keeps his epic record collection/record player and mammoth couch), and as mentioned a fireplace in the other living area that we use almost every night in winter, because why the heck not.

One bathroom is shared between the 3 housemates, however the toilet is separate and there has never been any issue with sharing! There is also a separate laundry with dryer and washing machine.

I'm 35, I own a shop on smith st, love music and have a 4 month old little puppy named Herbie.
I work at the shop and from home sometimes.
Dervla is 30 and works as an architect.. she's Irish and has been living in Australia for a few years now.

Dervla - Hi, I'm an Irish architect - Monday to Friday is pretty busy with work - Free time is spent outdoors camping and hiking, salsa dancing, hanging around Melbourne with friends, going to gigs ... loving the house and Melbourne life at the moment!

Sam - Similar to above...I've been in the house for about 2 years now and love it. I also love music, recording, writing, playing so on, and I own a record store on Smith St where i work during the week/weekends.
Compatible people
Both Dervla and Sam are really chill and easygoing, so that is a must. As long as you can clean up after yourself and like to have a chat with super cool housemates of a night, then you'll fit right in.
Description of pets
Herbie is a 12 week old Cairn Terrier :) He's tiny and excited, as most puppies are, however he is in the process of being trained and doesn't shed so there's no worries about the house getting dirty from him.
