Home Description

Description of the home

Come live in this amazing sunny house complete with a heavenly deck and serene backyard. We're a stones throw from the buzzing diverse streets of Marrickville yet cosy and tucked away from it all.

Half way between Marrickville Park and Marrickville Library you can't beat this sweet location with buses to the city/ Newtown on the doorstep.

Seeking a single person (no couples) to rent the second room in this beautiful bungalow I share with my friendly tuxedo cat Meg. If you love animals this is the place for you as Meg will happily sit on your lap and purr away. (She is 15 so no other pets please.)

About the occupants
Hi! I'm a purple haired quirky chick in her 30s who works full time in the arts. I'm very silly, yet wise and well travelled.

I love Marrickville and all its diversity. (Highlights for me include Pho PhD (top viet), Otoro (insanely yummy cheap japanese), op-shopping at Salvos and living walking distance to this city's greatest live music venues such as Lazybones Lounge, Gasoline Pony, and The Great Club)

I am a singer/ songwriter/ composer who warbles away in the front sunroom off my bedroom and occasionally down the hall :)

I've just taken up rollerskating (who hasn't!) and love to shoot hoops, walk along the Cooks River, find new amazing restaurants, go bushwalking, laze on the beach, make cocktails (happy to make them for you if you cook?!) etc.

I'm passionate about live music and Sydney's vibrant cultural landscape. I curate live events to ensure the scene thrives when not affected by lockdown. Can't wait for the city to be alive again!
Compatible people
I’m looking for someone mature and reliable with stable employment, who wants to create a peaceful happy shared space and might enjoy the odd glass of wine. Appreciate anyone who cooks and would like to share condiments and the odd meal. Bonus points if you have veggie garden experience as I've just created one! No smokers or party animals please. Love a laugh so bring your sense of humor!
Description of pets
Meg is an 15yo Black & white tuxedo cat. She’s very friendly and once she gets to know you will cuddle you a lot!
