This is the master bedroom of the house, up for rent whilst one of our housemates is away overseas. It's a massive room with a balcony, air-conditioning, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom (toilet and shower). Happy to leave the current queen-sized bed in the room, or move it for the duration of your stay.

An awesome two-story house in Artarmon, with a huge backyard and plenty of space to chill. Massive rooms with plenty of natural light, a comfy couch, big TV and air conditioning make the house fantastic and welcoming for anyone! We currently use the front room of the house as an office for our business, but all of the private spaces are far removed from any hustle and bustle.
We're only 10 minutes walk away from the train station - which means 20 minutes until you're at Wynyard or 25 minutes to Central! There are great cafes and local shops around too, so it's really convenient. For those with a car, street parking is relatively easy, it's all unlimited around us!

Hi! We're James and Alex, two single gents in our early 30's with stable jobs and plenty of friends.
Alex has a background in hospitality, then joinery and now works as a facilities coordinator in Sydney. He is an avid consumer of tea, B grade films on Netflix, and loves his daily walk up to Salvage for a coffee and croque madam.
James owns and runs a business with over 100 staff, and, almost as a direct result of that lifestyle choice, will often be found in the evenings with a glass of red wine in hand! Whilst it's true that he teaches people how to argue for a living, most of the time you'll find him charming and perfectly reasonable.
We're past the 'house-party' stage of our lives at this point, and would prefer to sit down to a nice drink, good meal and a movie rather than to have a stack of people around every night. You're more than welcome to invite friends over of course; just make sure we've got a heads up first!

A good flatmate for us would be someone who is independent, has a good work ethic, and is a 'no-fuss' person! Our approach to the house is that it's a supportive and happy place, drama and nonsense free. If you're the kind of person who can go with the flow, doesn't mind helping out around the house and is happy to share war stories over wine in the evenings, then you're more than welcome!
Description of pets
Misty (our house cat) is a rescue that James adopted 2 years ago from the North Coast. She's a lap-cat by nature and you'll warm to her quickly! Strangely enough, she's not a huge shedder and we're very happy to say that she's trained to use the backyard rather than a kitty litter!
Her hobbies include meowing, begging for food, annoying the dog in a neighbouring yard and sleeping on humans. She looks forward to making your acquaintance!
