About the occupants
Hello, I'm Susie, the owner of the property, recently widowed, and an ESL teacher. I am looking for cheery, mature people to share my beautiful home with me and Megzy, my friendly large ginger cat. I will be travelling a lot overseas and interstate soon and really hope that I can find reliable, like minded folk who will enjoy my home and all it has to offer and give me peace of mind that my home (and cat) are safe when I am gone. When not travelling, I work part-time on the Gold Coast, enjoy outdoor fitness, movies, cooking, wine and laughter.
Compatible people
I would prefer mature people even if retired, or ideally working with references, if possible. Cleaning is a shared chore, so taking it turns on a weekly basis is ideal. If you don't want to assist here, please be prepared to contribute to a cleaner. The room is for your use only. Please don't bring strangers into the house overnight. Friends and family are most welcome, but please do not ask for them to be sharing your room. Mutual respect is paramount.
Description of pets
Megzy is a large, friendly ginger 'Garfield' male cat. He loves his food and his brush and is very engaging - unlike most cats, he loves everybody. As he is a valued member of the house, I would hope that you are willing to feed him when you are home if I am not available to do so.
