Description of the home
The house is a 2 bedroom, one level terrace house with separate lounge, dining and kitchen. Small bathroom with a shower over bath. There is a large courtyard out the back which is lovely in the summer time, and even when it’s cooler and the sun is out!
The bedroom is a large double with a skylight in the roof and with built-in wardrobes with draws also built in. It comes furnished with a bed and bedside table. The house has ducted heating so it’s super toasty in the winter. As it’s a terraced house it stays fairly cool in the summer too!
The house is on a street off two main roads however isn’t crazy busy or loud though. There is on street parking which requires a permit. We get 2 free permits for 2 cars plus a visitors permit.
It's really well connected to public transport - a 5 minute walk to a tram stop (20 mins into the city) and 5 mins walk from Ascot Vale train station (15 mins into the city). Close to cafes, restaurants, bars and lots of uber eats choices! About a 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket in Moonee Ponds.
Close to Highpoint shopping centre too, there is a tram nearby that goes directly there.

Power - approx $40-50 per month
Internet - $70 per month
Water - every 3 months
Gas - every 3 months (summer is cheap and winter gets more expensive due to the ducted heating)

I mostly work normal business hours with the weekends off.
I’m pretty laid back and enjoy having a glass of wine after work with dinner and my fave shows.
Work is usually pretty full on so my week days are mostly pretty quiet.
On the weekends it’s a mixture of being out and about - drinks, movies, brunch, adventures, catching up with friends or family, or just staying in and chilling out.
I’ve recently split from a long term partner (which is why the room has come up) so this is a bit of a new experience for me.
Am super open for hangs, adventures, dinners etc, but am also independent and will respect your personal space.
I am a tidy person and keep the house pretty clean and tidy.
I’m a feminist, I love food, I enjoy reading and watching movies/shows. I try to be healthy and exercise (but am currently failing). I’m a big disney nerd and love all things cute (if I see a cute dog you will know about it). My goal is to cuten up the house with nice prints, plants and general loveliness 🌿✨
