Description of the home

We have just been approved for this beautiful townhouse in Ascot Vale and are looking for a third person to join our home.

Location: Close to Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne Showgrounds, Maribyrnong River, Highpoint Shopping Centre and Victoria University. The bus stops right out the front and takes you to either Footscray or Ascot Vale station. Takes approximately 30 mins to get to the city via Public Transport or 15-20 min drive.

The room: Medium sized room, would fit a queen bed and desk (although the home also has a study) and has a double mirrored wardrobe.

The home: This is double storey townhouse. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms, one of which will be yours and one bathroom which you will share with one other girl. There is also a study and laundry downstairs and a front/side courtyard. The upper level is the living space, there is a large kitchen and open dining and lounge area which opens out to the balcony looking over the Maribyrnong river and amazing sunset views. There is also a master bedroom and ensuite upstairs which I will occupy. There is a two car garage, but as there are already two cars at the property you will need to apply through the council for a street parking permit if you have a car. Photos are from the real estate, we get the keys on Friday and will move in all the furniture. We have all the essential furniture and appliances (Fridge, Microwave, Coffee Machine, Big comfy L shape Couch, Futon, Outdoor Setting, Dining Table, Flat screen TV, TV Unit, Coffee Table, Washing Machine and more). You just need to furnish your bedroom, but if you have other furniture, we can try to fit it somewhere too.

Flatmates: I'm 23, studying education full time and working 2 part time jobs, I like keeping fit and healthy, going to gigs and festivals. I'm generally busy with uni and work during the week and like to get out of the house on weekends. There is also one other girl who will be living here, she is 19 and works in the city every weekday.

Bills and expenses

Bills split equally 3 ways. Bills are at discounted concession rate. Internet is $20 per month

You will need to pay bond ($1160), plus 1 months rent up front. Bills will be split evenly, but being a full time student means we get bills at concession rate :) Realestate requires Rent to be paid monthly and calculated per calendar month
(weekly rent/7 (days of the week) x 365 (days of the year)/12 (months of the year),
Equivalent to $190 per week, over 12 mnths.
