Home Description

Description of the home

I am looking for someone to take over my room in a great 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment. It is located a 5 minute walk to the tram and 15 minute walk to the train station. It's a 5 minute walk to Coles and 10 minute drive to the Moonee Ponds shopping centre.

The lease is up at the beginning of March, so it would be until then unless you decide to renew.

It's a lovely apartment with gated parking and a storage/laundry area downstairs and plenty of storage around the apartment.

The room will be available from the 25th September. Please message if you'd like to set up an inspection!

About the occupants
I'm Katrina, a 29 year old research assistant at Melbourne Uni, where I work flexible full-time hours. I don't spend a lot of time at home, especially on weekends, but mostly like to relax when I'm there - pretty standard, watch tv/ movies, cook (not all that well). I'm trying to be a regular at the gym just down the road, but lapse a fair bit. I love travelling, and sometimes travel for work too, so often spend a week or two away at a time.
Compatible people
I'm looking for a tidy, easy going, considerate housemate. You'll be taking over from a pretty chill neat freak, so I'm used to it! I'm not fussed male/ female. Friends/ partners are welcome, but not looking for a couple to move in, or a party house - aiming for a balance between socialising and relaxing! Bonus if you can get on board with the cheetah painted on the wall of the lounge (see pics).
