Description of the home
Modern & spacious 3 bedroom/ 2 bathroom house on large block featuring back patio, fire pit and a mini farm with stunning sunsets over the hills from our micro vineyard.
Lounge Room is large and airy which can comfortable seat 8 people with TV/DVD and HDMI cable for webviewing + fan and Air con for those ridiculous hot and humid days.
We have a mini dining table inside with a large fully equipped kitchen including a breakfast bar with bar stools + medium size fridge/freezer & deep freeze which guests will have full use of.
The back patio is covered and rustic with pallet lounges and log furniture complete with fire pit and fairy lights with a gas BBQ and Webber BBQ as well as a dining space with the views of a unique & natural garden rock wall with well maintained gardens.
The mini farm is up the hill has a couple of veggie patches + chook/duck/turkey/quail enclosure and plenty of fresh eggs on hand. Their is also a cable reel converted bar overlooking the microvinyard which is the perfect place to watch the sun go down.
We have a study with desk and direct internet access which is considered a private area of the house as is your room and you will have your own large bathroom with bathtub and shower and separate toilet.
We have a garage that is full of stuff but can squeeze a bicycle in there if you need. Street parking is free and there is plenty of spaces available.
We are centrally located in Logan area with roughly equal distances of travel to Brisbane/Gold Coast & Ipswich areas which is great if you are moving from interstate and looking for work.
We are approximately 5 minutes from the M1 and Logan Motorway and are on the Gold Coast/airport train line.
The closest shopping centre with Coles/newsagent/doctor/dentist/pharmacy/booze is approximately 2km about a 20min walk.
The train station is about 3km away and is approx 30 minute walk. Located around the Trainstation there is a larger shopping centre with centrelink and employment agencies and banks & pretty much has everything you need... just a heads up... the walk is a bit hilly!

We have travelled around USA & Canada and loved our house sharing experience and we are excited to share our home and become hosts!
We have 2 x border collies who are adorable and very friendly and well trained and love kids! We also have 7 chooks (free eggs for breakkie if you fetch them) and 2 ducks & a turkey.
Charlie is a bush ranger/fire fighter and I am a probation & parole officer. We are both mon-fri girls with us going to gym/sports a few nights a week.
Weekdays we are tame with work during the day and afternoons we are either at gym/sport or in the yard doing something or walking the dogs until we settle down for dinner and a bit of telly before bed.
Weekends we could be off camping or kayaking, boating, fishing, hiking, paddle boarding and general adventuring!
We have settled down a little bit and are party days are mostly behind us. We have put a lot of work trying to live our lives sustainably and have just started our own permaculture garden (including micro vineyard) and our dream is to one day be entirely self sufficient but we r learning it's not as easy sounds lol.
We have a very large open planned house on 3/4 of an acre with beautiful gardens you will forget your living in the suburbs!
We are only offering short term stays at the moment probably best suited to somebody relocating and looking for work and a place to live as Beenleigh is where it's NOT happening lol
For those who are still interested and or want to know more information please feel free to ask us questions!
Otherwise come and stay, we would love to have you!
Most important rules:
NO VISITORS
NO PARTIES
NO DRUGS
BYO food & booze
Smoking Outside Only
Garage/shed/boat/tools are strictly off limits
The rest is general housemate stuff:
Kitchen & Bathroom: kept Clean & Hygienic
Communal areas: lounge, dining, patio, study kept tidy
Most importantly... We can all sleep in peace!
Lastly we foolishly bought a white leather lounge (which we may be regretting lol) so we would appreciate it if you didn't encourage the dogs to jump on it (they won't dare if we are around!) and if you spill something on it wipe it up right away with leather cleaner usually kept In the Coffee table with a cloth!
We want you to feel safe and welcomed into our home and if their is ever an issue please feel free to come and talk to us... We are more than happy to accommodate your needs (within reason) to make your stay as pleasant as possible :)
As I said we are very easy going... if you run out of something or need to borrow something just ask us!
We have chooks/turkeys/ducks they have a pen but when it rains a lot we let them out to roam from time to time... they like to think they are people and often hang out under the back patio and make a but of a mess.. we r usually prompt to clean it up but if it bothers u please let us know!
