The bedroom available is on the second floor of the apartment in a quiet cool position away from road noise (which is low anyway) and direct sun. The bathroom which is not shared is very close to this bedroom. The bathroom has a bath and shower.

Bills and expenses

The bills are Electricity and Gas, plus there is Unlimited NBN internet. Internet will be $25.00 per month each. Gas and electricity are usually around $450 per quarter total, winter months can be a little more. If you are someone who likes to use a lot of hot water and run blow heaters in your bedroom for excessive periods be prepared to pay for big bills and your share will be big!

Hi my name is Simon. I am a self employed guy who enjoys a quiet stable life at home. I have many interests including fitness and gym, antiques, fine clock collecting and restoration, art, classic cars. I have my own business which takes up a lot of my time!

I am a very easy going person, tend to be quiet, do not have party's at home and entertain only very close friends now and again. I will definitely enjoy some good conversation and a glass of wine and a movie when we both have the time. I work fairly long hours Tuesday to Saturday. As my work life can be long hours I appreciate some time to myself to relax and watch a little TV when I get home.

I have some items in the house that I would prefer not to be shared as these have high value so I think its best to be upfront about this from the start. I spend some of my spare time at home restoring antique clocks which might interest some people or it may be a problem so I need to mention this as well!
Compatible people
I am looking for a reliable employed person who would prefer a quiet lifestyle at home. If your working and studying that would be fine as well. I don't really want a very social person who likes to entertain a lot of friends at home, no problem if they want to do that away from home.

I prefer separate food arrangements as I work long hours and I find it easier just to organise meals in my own time. If you spend a lot of time on the lounge in front of the TV when home, then I would prefer you do not apply, if you want to do that in your bedroom, no problem.

I am very happy to share the odd meal together on the weekends and watch a movie. Cleanliness is quite important, I'm certainly not fanatical, but do not want to live with someone who is lazy in that regard!
