Artarmon

Description of the home

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment in Artarmon. It's on the first floor of a small set of quiet units.

There is a large open loungeroom, dining area and kitchen. The kitchen has just been renovated, with a dishwasher. Off the kitchen is the laundry with an efficient front loader, iron, ironing board and laundry closet.

In the loungeroom there is a very large lounge perfect for lazing on, TV, TV cabinet, DVD player, also a mannequin that I use as a hat and scarf holder! Between the loungeroom and kitchen is the dining area and also the book shelf, hoping for more books. Off the loungeroom is a large balcony with a 4-seater outside setting. I have tried to grow a few herbs out there but they are pretty pathetic.

There is an intercom system - to let people in through the front door of the unit block.

The bathroom has both a bath and a shower, with a new vanity and mirrored storage shelf. My room is on one side of the bathroom and your room is on the other side. You will also have the use of the underneath lock up storage area, for bikes, tools, etc.

It's about a 3-5 minute walk from Artarmon train station. Chatswood is the next stop from Artarmon, so within minutes you have two major shopping centres. It's also a 20 minute train ride from Wynyard and the city stops.

The unit is also home to a small female cat, Nike (Goddess of Victory). She's pretty settled and usually just sleeps on my bed for 20 hours a day.

Bills and expenses

Electricity and water will be payable - we would go halves in these bills. I do not have the internet set up, but it has been before, so if you want to organise that you can.
