Home Description

Description of the home

My housemate and I are sad to be looking for a third housemate as our existing one is moving to the US. Our Armadale abode is situated right off High Street, with quick access to supermarkets, retail, public transport and your local coffee shop that will know you by name in no time.

Our home is a Victorian-style townhouse, in the perfect location. Armadale station is a 3-minuets walk and will get you to the city in 15-20 minutes, while the tram on High Street will take you to Chapel Street in 10. Our vaulted ceiling living room has an adjoining courtyard, which is the prime location for a cup of tea (or chardonnay… pick your poison). The kitchen is a good size, where you will often find Garrett cooking up a storm and Tyler microwaving.

The house has built-in ducted-heating and split system air conditioners in each room. The house has a shared fridge, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, dryer, bathroom and on-street parking is available with a permit. Your room is at the front of the house away from the hustle and bustle of common areas, with a built-in wardrobe and two windows.

About you: After bonding through the pits of lockdown, we are a house that isn’t afraid to have a wine and a laugh together (We have the WAP dance down pretty well). We are looking for someone with positive energy and banter, as we are a house that enjoys sharing common areas over hiding in our bedrooms. Although we pride ourselves on being a bundle of fun, we are looking for someone who is responsible and mature when it comes to household responsibilities, respect and paying bills. Ideally, you are also a social butterfly, while nightlife is closed (although Chapel street is rebirthing) we will probably be meeting each other friends.

About the occupants
About us: Tyler (22): He/him. Tyler is a cinema manager and a busy man, as cinemas reopen. Tyler loves bringing people together, binging Schitt’s Creek on Netflix (ew David) and of course a gay anthem. He is often found keeping fit in the courtyard.

Garrett (20): He/him. Garrett works at a café and studies Fashion Marketing. In Garrett’s downtime, he enjoys picnicking, shopping and crying (Pisces). Garrett is often found taking a class in gay history, while Tyler educates him about gay anthems.

Both mature beyond our years. (We’ve seen some shit)

So basically, what we’re saying is; we work hard, but love to relax and enjoy ourselves too!
