STANMORE HOUSE

⁃ $220 per week, ALL bills included

THE HOUSE: 2 bed/1 bath in Stanmore. Entry via Corunna Lane, our landlord works in the shop below and is SO lovely. There is a servo, cafe and bottle-o at one end of the street, gym and another cafe at other end. House has combined kitchen/laundry at the front which is next to the bathroom, so you don’t have to walk far no matter what your cleaning needs. Long hallway to lounge at the end, with two bedrooms and a nook off the side. Your room is roughly 4m x 4m, with high ceilings and a window, it has no built ins but comes with a freestanding clothes rack which you can either use or chuck. Inclusive household so all the friendlies (🏳️‍⚧️ 🌈 SW, etc). Limited accessibility with 5 stairs at the front of the house and 3 in the middle.

THE HOUSEMATE/S: Blake, 32, she/her, I’m a Support Worker so my work days and hours vary. I’m also an Auslan student and by far the worst in my class. I can be found trying to keep plants alive or losing at Mario Kart.

Lettuce and Maeby are two beautiful, smol dogs. I share custody with my ex, but one or both will be here most of the time.

I have another pet in the form of my friend Amy, who lives on the South Coast but works in the city, so if she ever works late she’ll slink into the house after dark, eat the food I’ve left in her bowl and curl up on the couch. Startles easily but affectionate and housetrained.

THE FINE PRINT: Street parking on Corunna Road. Prefer a housetrained 30-ish yr old, queero housemate. Left-leaning, laid back and funny would be a bonus. Def not a party house, I want a cosy home filled with many plants and art picked up off the street, occasional shared meals and a list of old movies we’re slowly working through. I’m not in a rush to fill the room, I’d rather find someone who will suit. Must love dogs, the film and the statement. Sadly can’t accomodate any more pets, other than maybe an axolotl.
We don’t pay bills, which is amazingggg, however we do pay a regular cleaner. Rent 220 per week, $800 bond.

Big drinkers need not apply, 420 preferred.
