Home Description

Description of the home

If you love animals, but don’t have any of your own, this is the place for you. I have two cats and a big cuddly dog who are super loving, and I take care of all the animal maintenance. So all the hugs and playtime with none of the responsibilities - win win!

Huge lounge room and backyard - with a veggie patch. There’s also a big shed and a greenhouse out back if you’re into woodworkin, gardening or need a place to stash surfboards or excess furniture.

Kitchen is stocked with pots and pans and all that fun stuff, but there’s also a heap of cupboard space if you have stuff to add. Previous housemates have brought their own fridge and cupboard - there’s plenty of space ☺️

I also have a washing machine + dryer so no trips to the laundromat 🎉

I’ve converted the little 3rd bedroom as a home office that you can also set up in for work/study/craft. I have a spare desk you can use, or you can BYO ☺️

About occupants
I’m Nat, and I’ve got a room to rent in my house in Forest Hill. You’ll be living with me and my three pets (2 cats + 1 dog).

I’m in my mid 30’s and work full time in corporate land. I’m hybrid remote/from home, so I get to spend half the week at home with the pets. Sometimes on weekends I’ll coach kids gymnastics.

I’m an active person and train most days of the week - and I love spending time outdoors. When I’m home after work and training I like to decompress on the couch with a big bowl of pasta and some cuddles from the dog.

I like occasionally having friends round on weekends, but I’m far from a raging party animal. The vibe of the house is chill and quiet.

I’m also one of those creatives crafty types so in my spare time (whatever that is) I enjoy making clothes, doodling or bringing the garden to life.
Compatible people
Must be an animal lover and non-smoker - these are deal breaker.
Ideal housemate is someone clean and tidy who loves big dog cuddles. Someone who is respectful of personal space & privacy, laid back, and easy to get along with.

Bonus points if you’re keen to help out with the garden 🪴
Description of pets
The pets are:
- Kit the cat. The fluffy man of the house who has the loudest purrs in the world. Very passionate about food.
- Leeloo the small girl cat loves cuddles and even belly scritches. She’s also best friends with the dog - which is pretty cute.
- Cujo the Rottweiler who is a big teddy bear. She’s a sweet girl who loves pats, people and squeaky balls.
