Hello future housemate!

This apartment is located in a quiet building in a nice leafy neighbourhood within walking distance to local shops, cafes, gyms, Armadale Station (5-6 mins!), as well as High St tram (5mins) and Dandenong Rd trams (6mins). We're very well connected to public transport! The apartment is located on the top third floor and has lots of windows to let in light and is very spacious.

Whilst the apartment is currently fully furnished, we welcome any new plant babies into the home (our housemate that’s just moved out is the plant mum & the remaining two of us are mediocre at keeping plants alive, at best).

Street parking is available and a parking permit will be available to you. The street is quiet and there is always plenty of parking available.

Facilities: Security entry, large living room and small balcony with nice outlook, kitchen (without dishwasher), bathroom with separate shower and bath, laundry facilities in bathroom, and separate toilet.

You will be living with two females aged in their mid-20s and early 30s. We both keep relatively busy with work/study during the week and social activities on weekends, with our weeknights relatively relaxed. The room will be available from the 13th of December.

Bills and expenses

Rent: $165/week ($715 per calendar month - an absolute steal for this awesome room!) - not including bills.
Bond: $505

All bills are shared evenly between three, they include: NBN unlimited internet ($20 each p/month), Gas bill (every 2 months), Electricity Bill (monthly), and Hot Water bill (every 2 months).

We do our own thing for food and split the cost of buying general household supplies like toilet paper and cleaning products.

About the occupants
Housemate 1: Kirsten - I am 31 and I’m currently in the thick of completing my PhD part-time while working in psychiatry research. I'm also currently working from home. In my spare time I am very social, love going to gigs, music festivals and trying new restaurants. I also love nights in with a beer/wine or two and some Netflix. I really enjoy being in the company of housemates and sharing some food and/or drinks but also enjoy spending time on my own.

Housemate 2: Bec - I am 26 years old. I work in research and study psychology and nutrition, sometimes from home but usually out of the apartment. My weeks are usually pretty busy with work and gym, but I still love having a chat and maybe a wine while making dinner! I usually spend my weekends with friends, going to the beach or yoga :)

We are looking for a friendly and considerate housemate who is easy going and with a positive outlook. If you are after a drama free home and don't mind doing your bit to keep the home clean and tidy, then this is the apartment for you! We like to have a friendship with our housemates, but also respect each other's space and privacy. We are looking for an amazing, like-minded housemate to have engaging conversations with, maybe head out for the occasional dinner/drink, and someone who will also keep the apartment as our sanctuary. We are also looking for a housemate who is willing to respect COVID restrictions in place and follow them and who is double vaxxed!
