How we found a flatmate...
Step 1 - Create a profile

Step 1 - Create a profile

The Profile Wizard made it really easy to enter our description and preferences. Most of the questions were "point & click", so I completed it in about 10 minutes.

We wanted to be contacted by the right people, so I provided enough information and photos, even a short video of the bedroom, to help people figure out if our place was a good match.

Step 2 - Read matching profiles

Step 2 - Read matching profiles

When our profile was complete I opened the search page. It contained 2 lists: Perfect matches and Partial matches.

I could sort the lists of matches, which made it easy to find the profiles we wanted to read. Most of the profiles were well written, and photos and videos were a bonus!

The profiles had all the information we needed to work out which ones we wanted to contact; I added them to our shortlist.

Step 3 - Contact your shortlist

Step 3 - Contact your shortlist

The Shortlist was one of the best parts of the website; it made communicating with everyone super easy.

Apart from getting contact details, the Shortlist lets you send online messages & free SMS's and rate profiles.

It didn't take us long to find a great flatmate. It was a team effort that didn't feel like any effort at all.
